The AGM Global Vision Ultralight Night Vision Goggle (UNVG) is a full-featured articulating binocular system in a compact, lightweight, and rugged package.

The UNVG features a dual articulating design which allows users to operate the unit with either one or both eyes.  This is useful when operating a thermal optic or other passive aiming device while maintaining night vision on one side only.  This also allows the user to stow the pods comfortably against the helmet for a lower profile while in a vehicle or where head space may be limited.  Individual pods are powered off when articulated to eliminate backspash and protect the image intensifier tubes.

The UNVG is comprised of a simple, minimalist design, but without sacrificing features.  It features simple controls on the front of the housing for gain, on/off, and IR illumination.  Interpupillary adjustments allow the user to effortlessly set IP stop distances to their preference.  A durable, aluminum dovetail provides secure attachment to the user’s helmet mount.

Housing and Optics Information

The AGM UNVG is built using ultralight, yet high-strength reinforced PEEK+ glass fiber polymer construction to create one the lightest weight but highest performing binocular night vision devices (BNVD) currently on the market.  Power is supplied by a single AA battery, which allows up to 15 hours of continuous use.  Additionally, power can be supplied by an external battery pack which utilizes either four AA, or two CR123A batteries for extended operating times of up to sixty hours.  

High-quality Mil-Spec objective lens and eyepiece optics are used standard and provide excellent image quality and light transmission.

Rochester Precision Optics (RPO) ultralight objective lenses and eyepieces are available as an upgraded option.  RPO optics are approximately 20% lighter weight than standard Mil-Spec optics without any sacrifice of image quality.

All units are professionally assembled, nitrogen-purged, and thoroughly tested.

Image Intensifier Tube Information

All units are built using high-quality, meticulously-selected, brand-new image intensifier tubes.  All image intensifiers used by AGM have the most stringent spot (blemish) tolerances. 

Elbit thin-film tubes perform well in most conditions with minimal ambient light.  These tubes are an excellent value, produce a great image.  They work exceptionally well in urban environments with some ambient light.

All AGM UNVG image intensifier tubes are "Auto-Gated" in order to offer protection from light exposure during use.

*1800 FOM variants available with Mil-Spec Optics only.
