Noisefighters Panobridge MK3 Bridge System
The Panobridge™ Mk3 is an an ultra-lightweight, rugged, Night Vision Bridge System which is designed to securely pair two Mil-Spec AN/PVS-14 monoculars, as well as many other optics together. At an industry-leading 1.7 ounces total weight, it comes in at 15% less than a single polymer Mil-Spec J-Arm, yet is significantly more rigid due to the cutting edge design and materials used. It is designed for use with industry-standard dovetail helmet mounts, such as the Wilcox G24 series.
The monoculars attached to the Panobridge™ Mk3 may be swung up and stowed individually (Dual-Articulating), and out of the line of sight without disturbing the adjacent devices positioning to the eye. Additionally, this feature allows for fine tuning of interpupillary distance as needed. The Panobridge™ Mk3 also allows the user to stow both monoculars close to the helmet when the entire assembly is folded back. This improves center of gravity, creates a lower profile, and helps prevent snags and damage when stowed.
Beyond the more typical features of a bridge system, the Panobridge™ Mk3 allows users to operate their devices with a “panoramic” field of view through the use of an innovative “AFOV” (Adjustable Field of View) mechanism. A panoramic night vision image is achieved by exploiting the brain's ability to merge split images from two outward-angled monoculars into one cohesive picture. The Mk3 includes PanoLok™ bars to securely lock the bridge at specific panning angles, and prevent devices from being bumped out of position during hard use. Users can swap between traditional, straight-ahead tube orientation and panoramic field of view by swapping PanoLok™ bars. Both 7.5 degree angled and 0.0 degree straight PanoLok™ bars are included. No special training or tools are required for installation and use.
A high-performance polymer from Arkema® produces a nearly indestructible bridge system. This ultra-durable, impact-resistant material absorbs shocks and bounces back into shape instead of fracturing when dropped, bent, or otherwise stressed. All metal hardware on this bridge is made of 316 stainless steel and Mil-Spec anodized aluminum for the ultimate in saltwater corrosion resistance.
A tether (or dummy cord) attachment point is featured on the rear of the Panobridge™ M-ZERO to keep the mount system secure.
While the Panobridge™ Mk3 is designed primarily to work with Mil-Spec An/PVS-14 night vision monoculars, it is also compatible with a wide range of thermal optics and other night vision devices. Noisefighters offers a variety of adapters to work many of these optics to include, but not limited to FLIR Breach®, InfiRay Mini MH-25®, InfiRay® RICO Micro RH25, Sionyx® OPSIN, UANVM “Tanto”, and other MUM-14 Night Vision Monoculars. These adapters are sold separately and can be sourced directly from Noisefighters.
