Noisefighters Panobridge M1 Bridge System
The Panobridge™ M1 is an an ultra-lightweight, rugged, all-metal Night Vision Bridge System which is designed to securely pair two Mil-Spec AN/PVS-14 together. It is also compatible with a full range of thermal monoculars for other bridging options. At an industry-leading 1.9 ounces total weight, it comes in at approximately the same weight as a single polymer Mil-Spec J-Arm, yet its structure is comprised of high performing 7075-T6 Aluminum Alloy, making it much more rigid and durable. It is designed for use with industry-standard dovetail helmet mounts, such as the Wilcox G24 series.
The monoculars attached to the Panobridge™ M1 may be swung up and stowed individually (Dual-Articulating), and out of the line of sight without disturbing the adjacent devices positioning to the eye. Additionally, this feature allows for fine tuning of interpupillary distance as needed. The Panobridge™ M1 also allows the user to stow both monoculars close to the helmet when the entire assembly is folded back. This improves center of gravity, creates a lower profile, and helps prevent snags and damage when stowed.
Beyond the more typical features of a bridge system, the Panobridge™ M1 allows users to operate their devices with a “panoramic” field of view through the use of an innovative “AFOV” (Adjustable Field of View) mechanism. A panoramic night vision image is achieved by exploiting the brain's ability to merge split images from two outward-angled monoculars into one cohesive picture. The M1 uses a simple friction-based adjustment which can be mechanically locked using the included NVAT (Night Vision Accessory Tool) to tighten the top-mounted set screw.
A tether (or dummy cord) attachment point is featured on the rear of the Panobridge™ M1 to keep the mount system secure.
The included Mounting Arms are compatible with: Mil-Spec AN/PVS-14, Photonis Vyper-14, AB Night Vision MOD3 (Autogain Version), Knights Armament M-14 Alloy Chassis for AN/PVS-14, Nocturn Industries UANVM “TANTO” (A separate adapter is included).
A separate metal adapter is available for bridging monoculars which use the Mini-Rail / MUM attachment method such as the FLIR Breach®, InfiRay Mini MH-25®, InfiRay® RICO Micro RH25, Sionyx® OPSIN, and other MUM-14 monoculars.
For devices with a male dovetail mount installed, a separate quick-detach adapter is available for fast installation and removal. Some of these optics would include the N-Vision® NOX-18, InfiRay® RICO Micro RH25 with dovetail installed, RIX® Stride ST6, and AGM® StingIR. The adapter can be mounted to either side of the Panobridge™ M1 and a slider is included to adjust the interpupillary distance as needed. Additionally, a fore / aft adjustable dovetail is available which allows front to back adjustment to fine tune eyepiece alignment when bridging these optics.
