The NOCPIX SLIM L35 is an advanced, multi-function thermal optic that utilizes a compact design with simplicity, but provides a high-level of features and performance.  It is designed to function as a handheld monocular as well as a weapon sight utilizing a proprietary quick-detach system which allows it to rapidly be removed and reinstalled in the dark without any loss of zero.  The SLIM L35 features a 384 x 288, 12µm, ≤18 mK NETD thermal sensor combined with a 35mm F/1.0 Germanium objective lens to provide a base magnification of 3.5x.  A high-resolution 1024 x 768 AMOLED display, combined with this sensor and lens provides great image quality. 

The SLIM is powered by the IRB-2 battery, which is a common flat-top 18650 rechargeable lithium battery and provides up to four hours of operating time.  Additionally, the SLIM can be powered externally through a magnetic USB-C port for even longer operating times.

The key feature that allows the SLIM to function as both a monocular and a weapon sight is found in the unique, quick-detach mounting system.  This mount installs on a standard picatinny MIL-STD 1913 rail and features a dual-lever design that allows the SLIM to be removed easily while the base of the mount remains on the weapon.  When reinstalling the SLIM a magnetic interface along with a glow-in-the-dark alignment mark allows the user to reinstall the scope effortlessly to the base without loss of zero in the dark.

Other features of the SLIM include onboard video and image capture, multiple color pallets, NOCPIX App compatibility, simple controls, and a rugged housing built using magnesium alloy.
